Well, this might be controversial. What's a five-door Peugeot 206 doing on Retro Rides? Well, how about the following reasons: - awesome stance - banded steels - unique (if possibly ill-advised) colour scheme - er... it's different, innit? Ici.

I think the kindest I can be is to say that's the best 206 I've seen in ages. Sure, it ticks all the SW boxes, but it takes more than dope stance and a couple of fatlace stickers to impress nowadays…

I like the wheels. I'd like the whole package 1000x more without the vinyl.

Looks more like a cow than camouflage. Its 1000 times cool though, sits perfectly! There hasn't been that many 206's which aren't down the fibreglass route, so this is win.

That works in my eyes. Although personally I would lose the graphics, it doesn't need them.

Not feeling the graphics but everything else is ok, except for it being a Peugeot, obviously.

the rear wheel/tyre fitment on that is actually pretty awesome. looks to be a bit too much tyre up front to balance the look, but its not bad.
personally i think it needs more graphics for it to work. there too much of the original blue still visible, its needs more of it covering up to work as cammo. either that or loose them all together, but then i don't think it would work as well with plain paint.

not a huuuge fan of the camo but the rest is very cool - reminds me how much i really want a big dish omp as well.
think you could have something there dez, maybe more graphics would make it more camo and less cow print.
buts its def poking fun!

Me and a friend were talking about the whole pulled arches look,
Anyone else think it looks odd when they smooth out the swage line the runs around the radius of the arch?? I've seen it done where they seem to pull the arch from higher up/further out from the arch itself so it keeps the swage and flat area directly around the arch, look'd almost factory.
Personally, I'm not massively keen, think it's just the vinyl that puts me off. But 10/10 for effort. And I like the fact it's a more door.

Shouldn't, but I really, really like that!
If it was mine, I'd loose the graphics, but it does still look great with them.

My opinion (as if it counts) is the vinyl is killing it. The wheels and the stance/fitment looks great though

Erm, what they all said.
Wheels, yes. Vinyl, no.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Like it!
The vinyl is a cheap and effective way to spice up the paint work. The striping is a bit girly, but the stance and wheels are quite masculine. So confusing, but very refreshing.
Give hope to all 0 NCB drivers.

I would like to revise my opinion to say: From this angle it looks damn near spot-on . Like Dez says, maybe a little too much front tyre, but I think those wheels are the absolute perfect size. I think they give it a real tarmac rally vibe. I'm glad they didn't go that route though. I'd like to see the whole thing in the brightest blue of those, erm, splodges. It's not unlike a colour I saw on a 306 GTi-6 the other day and I think would look pretty spiffy. And ...except for it being a Peugeot, obviously. ...what does that mean exactly?

It is probably the best 206 I have seen to be honest, and I am not even a fan of the 206! Graphics could be toned down a little, but it seems to work.

well.... it's different to other 206s... the wheels are good, the setting for the pictures is nice, but it's still somewhat horrible in a "nuclear seagulls just fired multi coloured sh!t onto a modern french car" way.
But it IS a lot better than a most 206s. I can't help thinking it would have worked better without the stickers and camo though, so it would look like a 206 on which the suspension had failed so epicly that it ad made it suddenly much more interesting looking than a french blob deserves
