Am finishing up repairs to one side of my '74 Daimler Double Six and have not yet welded the wheelarch repair panel to the new sill.....
Should be doing it in the next few days and was intending to seam weld it and flap wheel it down so joint would be 'invisible' but looking at pics of XJ models there was a sort or recessed-join here.
Anyone have a pic of an unrestored joint to see how it was done at factory? I'm guessing it is similar the the join you get between the front windscreen scuttle and pillars on many cars.
