Morning everyone,
A friend of mine has a rather cool Land Rover which has some kind of Rover V8 in it.
I'm not sure what capacity it is, but I do know it's a naturally aspirated low compression engine.
It's only doing 8mpg at the moment because he has to make it work so hard to push the Land Rover down the road.
My first thought was to turbocharge it. He's on a strict budget so supercharging and compound charging isn't really an option at this stage.
Now, I believe that the Saab/GM V6's use one turbocharger hooked up to just exhaust manifold. So I was wondering about doing something similar here. If having two turbo's is infinitely better, then obviously we'd do that.
Any advice on parts required or general set-up would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Rich
