fuel pipe route ?

hi there , ive got a old engine , the fuel is gravity fed . and the fuel line passes past the head and within 1 inch of hot exhaust .

is there any fuel pipe thats fire retardent ?

ive heard of neoprene pipe . wondered whether this would do ?

as currently have clear go kart fuel pipe on and ime worried a good run and ill go up in smoke ? in a big way ?
