Oooh, what a mess. Looks unsavable. Personally I think you give me the engine, 'box, wheels and struts for my KE..... Seriously though, that looks like it's going to take a mammoth effort to put right, don't envy you one bit at all!!

Yep a lot of work, but when i looked inside the car when it got delivered , i found two new sills, boot lid, metal arches for the rear, new bumper, so all i need is a bonnet which i can get in fibreglass, the wings might be savable, i also bought a ta22 donor car last week with good wings and doors and a solid shell which will come in handy

That's a really big project mate, once rust is that bad it is not worth the effort it will be every where. I would be saving those bonnet vents, (very rare). The GT Grille, everything that bolts off thats worth saving and finding a new body thats better. Good luck if you stick with it.

The only reason i want to save this car is of its rarity , there isn't many long nose gtvs in the uk, if it had been any other model i would have stripped it and try to find a decent shell. i know it will be a shed load of work but i have managed to pick up most of the parts i need over the last year, just need to plant another money tree as my ra28 is bleeding me dry
