Surely those are unrepairable?
There wouldnt be any metal in one of those that you could work with or even consider safe?
And it must be said, anything structural is gone so you'd pretty much be using maybe one of the panels and replacing the rest with new stuff, so there wouldnt be any point anyway.

do see your point that on percentage value I realise you would not retain much original metal but again with alot of classic cars how many panels are original? And as long as it is all done properly and it is all jigged up theres no reason why it cannot be done Heres some pics of my last project which no less than 50% of the body was replaced and 4 years later it was worth every bit at the retro show this year its 1st outing out!

Any of them would most defiantly break up as they are moved. but taking on a project like any of these is the least of my worries!
as long as there is a tunnel connecting front to back theres something to work from!

Something like that just isn't restorable, you can't weld to rust and about the only things that may be savable would be some of the running gear and the odd bit of glass + the chassis number and plates.....

Masochist. But if you do take one on, get a build thread up so we can all marvel at the resurrection.

Masochist. But if you do take one on, get a build thread up so we can all marvel at the resurrection. . . . and so that we can say we told you so when it all goes tits up ! Seriously - there is absolutely no point in trying to save a car like that when there are plenty of better ones about - what you will end up with is not an anglia that has been restored but one that has been created with the bits of various others and/or new parts.

From an Anglia owner: I don't understand. They are a sh!t enough job to restore anyway, why would you want to make your life even more difficult?

I could just go and buy a good one but i don't reali want to do that the whole point is i am planning a "full rebuild" not a average restoration. and again if i look at the Anglia i have already restored it has 2 new front wings ,front panel, both front chassis legs, both full floor pans, full sills, chassis legs door posts and lots more non original doors chrome interior so in theory that has been created from parts as well? but i think as long as you have the determination any project can be achieved
