I got pulled once for riding up the bus lane in my old GPZ. Copper gave me a bollocking, then asked if I had anything to say for myself. Yeah, I said...I was just following you Red faced he said, Well...don't. On your way.

sounds like a pedantic copper that doesnt really know his job as well as he thinks he does!! out of them things, insurance, tax and windscreen are about the only things he had any ground on, import plates are legal, stretched tyres arent illegal, neither are different sizes front to back and dangerously low? get a life, jesus Seriously? He/I can pull over and check any vehicle that he/I believe to be in an unroadworthy condition. The fact that it pinged up as having no insurance or tax was probably the reason for the stop initially. So he's doing his job so far. Like others have said, should be grateful that he was open-minded and prepared to be proven wrong, rather than just take the attitude of "FCUK you I am the law" Everybody wants to left alone to drive their modified cars, but who amongst us actually want to kill somebody because our car is dangerous?

It's a sad time when we should be grateful for an open minded hounding by the police rather than a complete abuse of their power.
The relationship works both ways, I don't like dumbed down police bashing but modified car fans and drivers in general do feel this 'war on motorists' while true dangerous abuse of the law seems to be more apparent than ever.

Not aimed at Dez as all proven legal but why would you want to run illegally and then moan about coppers when caught ? If you don't want pulling up then run legal ,sorted ??
