I stumbled upon this thread and just had to share... forums.finalgear.com/general-automotive/the-ultimate-countach-48523/Moar info a pictures here too... www.teamspeed.com/forums/diablo-countach/36931-lamborghini-countach-turbo-s-one-kind.html#post526830Words taken from the links above: The Lamborghini Countach Turbo S was only built two times in the Lamborghini factory, one of them was a prototype. Apparently the prototype is either lost or doesn't exist anymore, which makes this car one of a kind. Most people will agree that even until today this car is the most radical Lamborghini ever built. The 4,8 liter V12 with bi-turbo had a power output of 748 hp (!!!!) and 876 Newtonmeter. It managed to do 0-100 km/h in 3,7 seconds and kept going all the way up to 333 km/h. Beneath the steering wheel there is a turbo adjuster. It could be manually turned to boost the turbo from 0,7 bar to 1,5 bar at which the engine performed its maximum power output. Just look at that engine bay!! Check out the links, there are some fantastic pictures in there! Lewis

I like that a lot! Every aspect is spot on, the wheels are stunning. Interesting to see it's on carbs rightly or wrongly I assumed it would have been fuel injection.

Why on earth would you have a dial for the turbo. Turn it to + and leave it alone

Lamborghinis were still on six webers until the mid 80s, engine size was increased and the carbs were moved to the top of the lump but blocked the view so electronic ignition was used after that. ;D

had anyone noticed how similar these 2 are, despite 30 odd years, 3 models and lots of carbon fibre?

To be honest, if you put all the models since the Countach in a line, you'd be able to see a clear lineage between them all... Apart from the big 4x4 thing, LM002 I think? Anyway, phwoar, love that.
