Hi guys a quick swing by a member of too many forums and too much on as always
any way the GTM has had a heart transplant recently, was hoping to make it to the Retro car show [what ever it was called this year] but didnt have the wiring all done ,
Anyway the heart in the GTM is still Honda but 1800 VTEC now, and oh boy....Conversion from the old Honda 1600 to VTEC was done in 10-12 days, bulkhead mods, engine mounts, sump, exhaust, new engine wiring, you get the idea, programable ecu etc etc. All fitted and drove 120 miles straight out the box and used everyday a week later at the Pod testing, 23 runs, then straight to Avon Park for the mini shootout to compete in the gtm class i organised completing another 10 runs or so then driven once again everyday to work etc. time to hone in on the small developments needed to refine the power. still on a rich base map and a few tweaks needed.
but what a few weeks that was i need a break
