Been on internet and it seams like you can fit the old OHV oil filter to the zetec engine?  As the long filter does not fit in my herald zetec conversion but short one might. Mine is old escort 1993 zetec(zeta) 1600 Has anyone done this is it ok? Does anyone know the filter thread is it metric or imperial? Cheers Rob |

yup, I use the short filter on my zetec engined mk2 cortina - the long filter does fit but you can't unscrew it without removing the engine  |

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in |

Cheers everyone, the Fram web site was very useful so going to get ohv oil filter at the weekend, as will save expence of buying remote filter kit ;D

You should find the oil filter for the CVH engine will fit too, thats what I used on the Zetec converted Quantum saloon I had.

clio uses an M20 thread, same as pugs since late 70's.
