Yet MOAR pictures.
I didn't take may pictures of the cars in the show ground, unless it caught my eye, mainly because there are many other better picture snappers than I.
As usual, as in true me fassion, the Skoda is currently languising on the drive not running, so I got a ride with my mate Mike in his E36.
He purchased a set of Azev wheels with the rear being 18x10" in a silly offset. Needless to say they really didn't fit and so I helped him beat the arches into submission.
We started by rolling the arches. We started with scaffold tube, but that wasn't manly enough. So we switched to using an old CO2 welding bottle!
Good old BMW overengineering, but the damn arches just wouldn't give clearance, so coppy coppy!
BTW, this was all on Firday morning just before meeting up with the euro convoy at Beaconsfield.
Clearance was just enough, so some toe and camber adjustments were made and we set off
Checking the arch clearance as we rolled!
Well it didn't quite clear enough and scrubbed a bit on big bumps.
Mike is sniffing the scent of money being burnt in the form of rubber!!
Onto the convoy.
As we set off a random white polo joined in, then swiftly left!!
You can just make out Rowan in the picture below snapping away
It was at that point I suddenly realised I had forgotten the damn tickets!!!! ARGH, so around we turned, leaving the convoy behind to go back and get them (only a few miles thankfully).
Anyway, after a weekend of booze and many many LOLz onto the cars...
Now some of you out there get amazing photos by tracking the car with a DSLR. I am pants with cameras, so I employed the hold it still and get a 'blury action shot'.
My mate Neil's awsome rally inspired Skoda
At this point we went and mooched the field. I really liked this Micra for some reason
I wonder what happened to these guys?
One Lancia does not Boyz make!
Nice skoda estelle
My ghetto blaster on the front of Colonel K's Cav
My sister purchased it brand new in the late 80's and gave it to me a few years ago. 3D Super Woofer FTW!!
Brawr's MR2 looking great on banded steels
Intake porn!
There were also some great cars in the retro parking area
I have a massive soft spot for Mk3 Escorts, and this one really caught my eye for some reason.
It was nice to see some Ronal Turbos in a painted guise rather than polished.
I LOVE this RX7 so much.
WTF is this?
The Delorian was super clean
I don't know what this was, but was getting much attention in the club house car park. Hardcore and Rmad in the background have just done some sort of dodgy deal by the looks of it.
And here are a few more track pictures.
Slidey!
Whoops!!
And finally one of my favourite pics, of Kev's tat in the field. This was just a point and shoot photo that I didn't even aim! Dead happy!
I also have a bunch of brust photos I captured of a few cars including Kev's truck and BiAS's Chink. I might make some little animated Gifs and put them up.
Anyway, hope that wasn't boring, and some different and origional pictures.
Many thanks to all
Lewis.
