I did a quick search, couldn't find anything about it. When my policy comes due, I'm looking for one policy to cover a few cars. I haven't seen much about to cover this (especially as I can only just get insured one car alone being 20) and on this forum people often seem to be driving more than one car. One person I knew a few years ago was able to drive a fleet of minis on one policy (on the basis he gives himself permission to drive them) and I'm looking to do the same. I admit I know nothing so I maybe asking stupid questions! I might possibly be wanting to insure one as the main car (more valuable, comprehensive) and have my old beemer insured on the side.
Cheers.

I've got two cars insured, but could only afford it after I'd built up to 4 years NCB. 2 different policies, one with Tesco as a normal daily driver & my other with Adrian Flux on a limited milage classic car policy, but they gave me a shadow NCB on that policy, saving a fair chunk. Total cost: around £700 a year for the pair

I've got an Admiral Multicar policy, but I don't think they cover cars over 25 years old. Might be worth speaking to CIC in Colchester to see what they can do (am I right in thinking they're local to you? )

TRIED! Didn't find much except admiral, which seems to be two policys but discounted. Colchester is local to me during some weekends being my native town so thats a possibility. I see you're from Sudbury, that's even more local to me! Next time my insurance rolls round I'll be 21 and (fingers crossed) 2 ncb.

hey, jonnyS. do you have a contact number, or email addy for these guys? What, the Admiral one? Here it is! Can get a number for CIC later on. The Admiral policy is cheap - £440 for a modified 2.0i Ghia Sierra AND a modified 1.6L. The Ghia should have been £350 on it's own (full NCB), then £400 for the other one (because I've got no NCB for it). Nice £300-odd saving.

I went through this 2 months ago.
ended up with Norwich Union - who give a discount on the 2nd policy, of 50%. £267 FC for the spider £445 for the 75
however the best deal I got was with Direct Line - which was a dual policy & they offer NCB on the 2nd policy, they quoted me only £550 in total for both cars FC, but I had heard such horror stories about direct line, that I was happy to pay the extra £162 for NU, who I have been with, & have treated me well over the last 4 years.
