have you seen the lay flat ramps at all? considerably more expensive than those, but basically you drive onto them (when they're flat) then essentially jack them up.....
ill see if i can find some.....

It all depends on how low your car is and how long the overhangs are. I'd need bloody long extensions to get my MX5 on them and you'd be surprised how many 'stock' height cars foul these ramps, let alone lowered ones. Slammed cars...forget it. Long extensions would need to be made, and if that is the case, you may as well maje some ramps from scratch

i find its pretty hard to beat sections of scaffolding plank/railway sleeper cut at an angle and screwed on top of each other to make 'steps' to drive up. up one or two steps to get to the sump nut but keep it reasonably level, up a few more if you need proper access.

I've a set of them ramps and are useless for prettu much everything except the 4x4 - event he LS400 as stock height couldnt get up them without fouling
I ended up making some gentle slopes for them which were about the length of the car..
Still think you can beat a few blocks of wood screwed together and graded to give a nice gentle slope up

^warning breeze block content!
in other news, depends where the clearance issues are, I have to take the front valance off of my cav to drive it onto ramps but it was no hardship once I spot drilled the welds and made it bolt on...

Man that looks iffy. Weight is acting to push back the blocks. Everything's on the corner/edge only. At least they should be under the wheel, not behind it. Those stands look weedy and aren't far back enough. OK maybe there's a jack or other backup system underneath, but still, could be better.
