Right this is getting on my nerves now so lets see if one of you guys could shed some light.
Basically the Capri seems to be loosing its water through the expansion bottle overflow. I can drive the car fine, Electric fan kicks in and turns off when it should etc etc. But then once the car is turned off it just deposits its contents of the expansion tank on the floor. Ive drained and refilled the system, fitted a new pump and thermostat and made sure the expansion bottle is not full (just up to the marker).
I would of thought as soon as the car is stopped the hot water would spill into the expansion bottle then the pressure of the system would keep it in.
Has anyone else had this issue?
