I got a new Mallory ignition coil on the weekend as mine was kaput and it was cheaper than an OEM one from Vauxhall.
It's designed for the car (or similar models), the shape is the same as the old coil, but instead of two connectors for secondary and primary windings, it has four connectors (and one for the obvious HT lead).

I can't remember if my old one had a coil amp as well ... this one definitely doesn't. Has anyone had experience with using aftermarket coils, and can maybe advise me of which wire will go where.
No wiring diagram exists on the net or Mallory's website.
