I've been trying to locate one of those Nissan Navara pick ups for myself. I really believed they weren't available in the UK. Even when I've stumbled upon new boxes in the supermarket they never seem to contain this toy... On with the search! Couldn't tell you where i got it exactly only that it was most likely Tesco or Morrisons. I did pick up some of those Hotwheels from Smyths and maybe an Asda one or two but the majority where the aforementioned supermarkets

It's surprising how you can find some real Hotwheels and Matchbox gems in supermarkets.

Been on the lookout in my local supermarkets, but as ever, no decent Matchbox, or HotWheels to be found. So I found these Zuru Metal Machines in Home Bargains, and thought I might get a few to re-paint. Buffalo. Rush. Cadet. Flair. Horizon. Despite being called Metal Machines, with the exception of the base they're completely plastic, anyway, I kinda like them even though they're fantasy cars. Although that being said, you can kinda see what they're supposed to be. Anyway, the first one, Buffalo is all in bits with the plastic body in primer, hopefully it'll be looking good in a day or two.

Had some Dealz (poundland) finds with the Escorts and treasure hunt. And a long awaited delivery from Modelmatic. Love these 55 gassers. Looking for the Hoonigan version actually. 2 for preference if anyone sees or has them please.

Is it because we are all staying at home (covid-19 restrictions), that has this thread dead?? When i used to be busy and fun. I know I have had little to add lately.

I was thinking the same the other day! I haven't been near anywhere that sells HW since last March. The only place within reasonable distance is a branch of B&M (how these places are classed as essential is a mystery ...) and I have no desire to go there at the best of times. I saw a few of the new cars out, plus the new TH/STH cars and wouldn't mind having a search for them but it'll have to wait until ... when are the shops open again? I usually get mine on 3 for 2 in The Entertainer. Two for my little boy, one for me

Yes mainly because rather than go into several different supermarkets in the week i am only going into 1. Still added a few matchboxes to the collection, they have updated the packaging and colours and a few new models.

I needed a fix. These usually go for 50+ but this was a 24 start price. I looked everywhere and put a max bid in that was 20 quid less than the next one for sale. And I won. Its gorgeous!

After a very long time, I was in a shop that sold HW yesterday and got a few of the new 2021 cars. Quite cool, sadly not a STH one though, just a regular mainline 8 Ball. This is very cool, another Ryu Asada design. Goes with the Urban Outlaw 911 I've got too. I also, finally, found one of these.

I've always looked for rubber tyres lol The easiest way to identify standard TH cars is the limited/low volume production flame symbol. It's always on the car somewhere (on the Dodge van it's on the halberd) and on the card behind the car itself.

Good haul from a random charity shop. 50p. The lot. I must make a return, there were more charity shops but I was pushed for time. After taking a forced break from the customs recently ive come to realise how much I enjoy the process. If I could draw, id draw my ideas, but I cant, so the customs allow me to get my ideas into something. But what next??
