No I am the ignorant one, but what is the difference between No.1 and No.5 from left? The wheels maybe? Number 1 was the first release in non metallic blue , number 5 was from one of the Fast and Furious sets they made and is a metallic blue. |

Ah i see actually i think i have the F&F one, White Castrol, 50th, White & Blue and possibly the Red Castrol as well......tbh if i see a mk1 Escort I buy it so probably some duplicates as well  |

I saw those in poundland too. It took me a while before I decided to leave them there, but I had to really give it some thought. My feeling is that it would run on those tidlo wooden train set tracks quite well.

Same over here in Germany.
At least I think, not sure if ours are wooden, too?
I even think I read rubber on one of them, for use in school?
But they look cheaper than they are, they cost almost the same like the real hot wheels.
Maybe something more for kids than collectors?
Hot Wheels doesn´t want to do just the McDonalds happy meal stuff probably?
Came across them when I hunted the checkmates.

I've not actually bought one, but I think it is probably MDF, there appears to be no grain to it. But like I said, I've not bought one, only had a quick glance at one in the pound shop.

Looks decent, guess there all an investment really if you keep them for a good few years. Shame to think about all the cars I smashed with a hammer to make them look like they had been in a crash when I was a kid. |

That is very nice, i like the chevy and i too have been tempted to pay strong money for one, so far the most ive paid for a hotwheels is £17. Sometimes, you just have too. I know people who can get through £40 worth of alcohol in no time at all. Heads up to anyone whos intersted that Sandown Park Collectors Fair is on this Saturday 10/11/18. I usualy forget all about it so this time I'm going with intent. |
