got a Mk3 escort 1300 OHV for free couple of years ago, because the laquer was peeling on one door, three months tax, on the way home drove in the MOT station - it failed
on a sidelight bulb - 2.50 to fix
i ran the car for almost 18 months, until a wagon backed into it and kinked the rear pillor
don't get offered any these days - the price of scrap is rising steadily

Well, my (double) garage is full. The 'double' driveway is full. And my Rocco has to find a space on the road. And now an Audi is parked on Wife's Gran's drive. One has to go soon... Looks like a Rocco is about to be for sale

Might be able to take that spitfire off your hands, bud Any chance I can come over for a nose? Yeah, sure. Don't expect too much though! Lol! It needs a full resto, but is complete with overdrive gearbox and Smiths gauges. Engine was fine last time it was fired up - just needed a new Starter Need it gone ASAP really or it will follow the Lancia Delta, MK 2 Capri, Mini, Chevette and Renault 5 to the great scrapyard in the sky.
