ANOTHER UPDATE
I know I haven't updated for a while but I do have proof that things have been moving forward, even if it was a little slower than I wanted... (Sorry I didn't make it to RRG13
)
Anyway as usual I'll let my photos do the talking............
Stripped off the rusty shields...
Cleaned and ready for painting...
Paint time...
All rebuilt and refitted to car...
Undersealed rear arches...
Refit rear coilovers...
Now to get rid of some rot....
Make up some card templates...
Inner sill...
End piece...
Shape template...
Dan Barruffo's Fabrication skillz making up the repair panels from the card templates...
Remove all old paint and filler from areas to be repaired using a wire wheel...
Scrape off underseal from inner sill...
N/S stripped...
Offer up repair panels and mark out area to be removed...
Choppy choppy...
Bit more grot...
Chop it out..
Offer up repair panel again...
Grotty inner arch...
Soooo choppy choppy...
All gone...
All tacked up...
Built up some inner strength...
Inner sill...
Grindy grindy...
All done...
Patching inner arch...
Small sill patch...
Ready for filler...
Quite a bit chopped out...
O/S repairs...
Lets get some filler going...
