My sisters Punto is having problems. First the speedo was jumping all over the place, then the ABS light came on (brakes sometimes judder or don't work at all), and now the brake lights are on all the time, as is the drivers side front indicator (not flashing, just constantly on), the rear wiper always wipes, and when you turn the ignition on, the headlights wont come on at all.
Also my sister had to stall the car as it kept running even with the keys out the ignition.
We have disconnected the negative lead on the battery to stop it for now, but she needs her car for work, so what do you suggest?
A mechanic says it will be a new ABS sensor and Speedo sensor, of which he says its £400 (needs a fiat mechanic to assist him

So all sound like a load of twaddle from the mechanic and i thought it sounded more like a bad earth (it is a Fiat after all
), but what do you lot think
