I spent less than 4 hours there and as ever about 7 travelling all in! , no doubt your photos are better than mine, will upload tomorrow. That cresida was for sale, I pondered buying it briefly, interior was top notch. all for a bargain price.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

haha that green cefiro that is drifting, my mate originally bought that off a guy who was moving back to japan, my mate paid £600 for it with coilovers uprated turbo and all other manner of goodies on it, he then rattled the bottom end, sold it onto a guy who rollered it nato green...who then had it painted a gorgeous blue colour by his bodyshop mates.. he then sold it to that freak who painted it snot green, what a tragic sight...

I'm not a fan of the 8-spokes, but I like the vinyl roof and the 'striping. Which Cressy was for sale...the later one?

This car is lovely! Been seeing it at shows since 1993, got better all the time, though think it now has a new owner? However, I think it really should have been at Billing the previous weekend.

Great pics!
What's the difference between a 140J and a 160J then? And what does the "J" stand for? ;D

Simon: That Silver car was indeed the one for sale, it was a little crusty here and there and those horrid wheels should by law force a considerable discount. Interesting flames on the side theough. Darren: 140J was designated for cars with the 1400 lump, 160J was for those with the 1600. Same logic goes with all the other models e.g 240Z = 2.4, 100A = 1 litre etc. However the red 160J has a 280Z engine in it......and the blue 140J one has a silvia turbo - a real sleeper. The J suffix simply was a japanese designation for the Violet. The Sunny was Y - the 120Y & 140Y, Cherry was A - 100A & 120A, Bluebird 160B & 180B, Laurel 200L & 240L, Skyline 240K and the big cars - known but never badged in the UK as Cedrics 240/260/280/300C.... I won't go into model codes because thats quite confusing....

Great pics! What's the difference between a 140J and a 160J then? And what does the "J" stand for? ;D The engine size. As for the J, really don't know.. must be something though. The J's are Violet's. C's are Cedrics, which makes sense. Z's are Fairlady Z's, again, makes sense. L's are Laurels, same again. K's are Skylines... hold up, not making sense again! Eddie might know, my assumption is that it's possibly something in Japanese or just a random designating letter of doom!.. DOOM I TELLS YA! Nice pictures datsuncherry, as per usual, very nice selection and very tidy.
