	I don't have any pics so bear with my explanation. I went to insert the splined driveshafts into my LSD and they just wouldn't fit until I located and removed a surclip that sat in a grove about an inch from the top of both shafts. My q is .... Do I need these clips?, What are they doing? and if I do need them please suggest a suitable method of fitting. Help much appreciated as I need to make the most of my progress today and get the rear subframe assembled and back on the car tomorrow Cheers peeps

	The clip keeps the joint in so it prity important if not it will slide out when the suspension moves. They can be a real "female dog" to fit because a small durr(shape edge) can occur in the femal side in the diff, try and use a file or dremel to get rid of the burr but clean up swaf put rag down the end. Then use a bit of grease on the clip.
