Does anyone know of somewhere that can replace the bottom balljoints that are pressed into the casted bottom arms on a corsair without having to pay the silly prices of new ones which would be upwards of 200 quid.Or know where the bare joints can be bought to press into place. Thanks. .........Jay

If they are like the Porsche items (I.e not simply pressed in as per say a balljoint on a VW Beetle or a Pug 106) there will be more to putting the balljoint in than simply taking a worn one out and chucking another one in since the surfaces of the arm itself within may be worn, hence the need for it to be machined slightly). However, if they are just pressed in as one unit into the arm, I'm sure someone may know of a modern alternative that can be fitted .

Thanks for that ,I thought somebody might be able to wave me a magic wand and save me loads of cash ,although it's given me the idea to pillage the mk1 cortina to see if they're the same ones, and swap them if they match ,something might crop up before I need them for the mk1,and yes maybe joining the cortina owners might throw some light on it ,if I do find some available I'll post it on here to help anybody with the same problem. .cheers Jay
