Hi Guys, have been on the forum for a while but not put any posts up so I thought i'd show my Mazda's.
Right here I go, The first one is my 1996 Mazda MX5 Monaco with a massive 46,000 miles on the clock (43,000 when bought) and got it for £900.
It was bought as a Cat C Write Off which then I put back on the road. It was bought last may with the intentions of fixing it up and selling it just when the sun started to come out. But when I fixed it I fell in love with it and could not part myself from it and I still have it to date and is used as my dads daily runner. The cars are actually my dads (mainly as i'm only 16) but I am the petrol head / car nut and actually chose what car to buy, maintain them, fix them, clean them and modify them etc. I normally buy cat c's and d's and use them for a while and then sell them and buy another (Although the mx5 will stay for quite a while).
This is what it looked like when I got it.
and this was the damage
The parts I had to replace where: OSF Wing, OSF Door, Indicator Side Repeaters, OSF Coil Spring, OSF Lower Wishbone, OSF Anti Roll Bar Link, OSF Track Rod End, Exhaust and had to wind in the track rod a lot. There was probably more I replaced but I cant remember all of it as it was over a year ago.
When I got it, it was a completely standard Monaco, but not any more
This is what it looks like now
I think I have put on: Compomotive MO5 Wheels, Lambo Style Wheel, Chrome Dial Rings, Razo Air filter, Razo Gear Knob, 1.8 Cabin Brace, 4 Inch Exhaust, Kick Plates, Chrome Bonnet Lifters, Chrome Bullet Style Wing Mirrors, Clear Indicator Side Repeaters, Radio Cubby Hole, Uprated Speakers, Boot Release, Front Grill and probably some more bits I can't remember.
As it is a monaco that means it has sod all For example no power steering, no electric windows etc But that a good thing because it is less weight and it handles like a flea.

I am planning to do more to it by: Front and Rear Upper Strut Braces, Front and Rear Lower Strut Braces, Decat, Lower it slightly, Yellow OEM Rear Boot Spoiler, Yelow Front Lip Spoiler OEM, JDM or Garage Vary, J Front number plate with offset JDM number plate bracket, Remove Front Badge (fill in number plate holes and badge holes and respray bumper), Spray the wheels yellow with yellow stripes and decals, Yellow Rocker Cover, Spray Front Grille Yellow, Yellow Front and Rear Mud Flaps and probably a few more bits in time.
And the second is the mighty RX7.
Have only owned it for a few months but have loved every minute of it.
Got it a few months back for £1500 and it is in very very good condition. It's a 1988 RX7 FC3S EGI which has just clocked over to 70,000 miles. When we got it it had not seen the rain for 8 years, was always garaged and had only covered about 1,000 in those 8 years. It was very well looked after for example the £700/£800 bill for fixing the headlights because they didn't pop up and the sunroof being fixed due to it rusting (common problem) and the roof being resprayed.
This is it

It is totally standard apart from the Janspeed exhaust that really sounds nice. We took it down to Shoreham Airport and took it down the runway to have bit of fun which i did better than i imagined (times in signature). Then the following day went to Beaulieu for the simply Mazda event with the mazda rotary club which was the first proper event we have been to.
Although on august the 20th we are going to rotorstock 8 which will be good fun going down the drag strip and spring circuit at santa pod.
The only things I need to fix on it is the pas cooler pipes as they are leaking slightly, the speakers as they are shockingly bad, one of the rear speaker covers is cracked and the drivers side bolster is slightly cracked.
This is are only car that isn't a write off which is a nice, but things that aren't very nice are how much fuel it drinks. I think on a long run we get about 20 mpg and short runs 10-15mpg but you don't buy a rotary to save on your fuel bill. I worked out going down the runway flat out it did roughly about 3.1 MPG but I just say it gives the car a bit more character.
I am trying very hard not to modify it because standard rx7 are getting rare these days and it is part of what makes it special.
I think that me over for now and thanks for reading
