I have a 1987 Tomos and have no idea how to start it. I have tried kick starting in backwards with lights off, clutch on it turns over but will not start. We have gotten a new spark plug and tried that still did not work. Can someone either tell us how to start it or what would be even better is if someone knew a site I could go on to get a manual on it that would be awesome. Thank you to anyone who can help

Is the plug sparking when you try and start it? Take it out, plug it into the cap and rest it against the engine while you kick it over, that'll show whether it's sparking or not and should eliminate the plug itself, the cap or the lead.
It's probably too old to be like modern 'peds but try making sure the rear light works and then holding the brake lever in and then attempt to start it.
Some modern (Chinese) 'peds won't start if the back light doesn't work.
