Hi,
Got a naughty K10 Micra...
Starts and runs (just, a bit lumpy) but as soon as it's warm it cuts out and we can't start it again.
Leave it to cool down, and bingo it starts...
Fairly sure it's the carb, your thoughts please?

hmm that does sound like a carb problem as there isnt much else that can go wrong with these engines. I might have got a spare carb for £10 + postage if you want it. But its off a 1.2 so yo will need to change the jets over from your current carb.

Have you got another coil to substitute in place of yours?
No idea if heatsoak is a problem with these, where's the exhaust manifold?
But as it starts and runs iffy, I'd say coil is the main culprit. Though others could (probably will) know better.
Edit; nevermind, he knows these engines much better than me!

Had this with a R reg one last month, every time I got out to the broken down car it would start, changed the coil and it's fine now.
this was the one with the coil in the dizzy? sorry no idea if that's the one your on about? don't know micras that well TBH.
