Not he original boxy one, but the mk2 face lifted one. I know they did a quattro, bit did they do a turbo quattro, and what was the biggest engine. I've seen a 2.8, but did they ever do any of the bigger V8 engines? Has one ever been fitted by an enthusiast?

this one? Of more the design of this concept for inspires itself of the one of the Cutting 100 S. For the amateurs of the brand to the trident, Maserati, they will have recognized inspired design of the Maserati Bora that is rather similar

The ones with the natty rear spoiler? 2.8 was the biggest as far as I know... Of course...There's a certain 8.3 litre V8-engined one*n

its not a difficult swap ;D A few people have done them into saloons now and the coupe is not really any different underneath The best base for it is a V6 rather than a 5 pot.... cant remember if they did a V6 quattro coupe though They did a Quattro S2 with Turbo 20v 5cyl and 4wd... The place you want to visit for all things B3/B4 is www.s2forum.comHTH Dom

Ive had 2 of them, a quattro and a 2wd. Both handled great but the quattro was something else. Electric diff lock, but turns off after 15 mph :-( But absolutely cracking cars imo. They look better with the later bonnet with the grill in it and the S2 has a slightly different bumper. The bib is bigger and has two slats at the bottom for the intercooler. If you are gonna buy one be aware that the inner wishbone bushes are very prone to going. Speak to a company called dynalynx (think thats how u spell it). I once got a set of nylon inner bushes and some ally subframe bushes for a customers S2. That car was then one of the best handling cars i think i have ever driven. Best of luck chap.
P.S. 5 pots with stainless exhausts sound the greatest!!!!

They do sound luuurvely!! You mean *DIALYNX*, very well known Audi specialists. IMO the 5pot is the one to have, the 20v Turbo ABY engined quattro, as found in an S2.

The bestest one is the John Sleath V8 - fastest street legal (on treaded tyres) 1/4 mile car in the world at 7.odd seconds. It's properly street legal as well. He's doing my roll cage diven't you know
