B210 is a 1976 120Y
if he had asked for a 1978 or later 120Y then it would have been a B310 ...
Also are they in the states or UK? Because things can get a bit wierd if they are in the US. I'm sure one of the Datsun-ites will come up with a much better response by the time I've finished this.

Fanks! It's a UK buyer so that should be OK (in fact not a million miles from you HTW!) Any chance of some pics showing these B210's and B310's, in order to (a) make this thread more interesting and (b) Further clarify my understanding of Dat-tat.

Yes, but further complicated by fact that up to 1976 B210 had 12" wheels, then changed to 13" for the last couple of years. There are some differences with suspension and steering too, but whether this extends to bearings I really don't know, sorry. Not really best placed to be doing much with pictures right now

Here goes for a quick Sunny history lesson ;D The first generation of the Sunny line arrived in 1966... Chassis code B10Sold in the UK from late 1968 badged as a 1000 as it was everywhere outside of Japan where it was sold as a Sunny 1000. These cars were built between 1966 and 1970. Second generation... Chassis code B110Sold in the UK badged as a 1200 as it was everwhere else but Japan where it was still a Sunny. These were sold from 1970 through to late 1973. Third generation... Chassis code B210Sold as a Sunny in Japan, 120Y in Australia and Europe and just as plain old B210 in the US. These were built from 1973 through to 1977. Fourth generation... Pre-facelift... Post facelift... Chassis code B310Again sold as a Sunny in Japan but the European market gets a bit more complicated. Earlier version were sold as 120Y or 140Y and 150Y for the coupe depending on what size engine they had. The later version were just badged as Sunny. To confuse thing more, in the States they decided to call this car a 210The next generation of Sunny was the B11 which was the first to use FWD followed by the B12 which was only available here as a coupe or estate. The B12 lineup was supplemented by saloons and hatches taken from what was technically the Pulsar range (N13) which were then rebadged Sunny's for Europe. These later generations were called a Sunny here and in Japan but usually known as a Sentra in the States. The only model of B13 we got here was the coupe which was universally known as a 100NX.
