Go to babelfishType in your chosen phrase. and then translate english -> Japanese You can do it the other way too. Anyone want to guess what this says? ŒÃ‚¢•Ä‚Í—h‚ê‚é Could come up with some real humourous phrases translated into pictograms for a vinyl maker to translate.

Oops, the J didn't work when pasted. But try it and see and then maybe put it into an image for the graphic printer.

Those translations are pretty terrible... they can be used for getting the gist of a page, but not, I suspect, making funky car graphics...
At least without turning up on a J-website in the future as that idiot who has "Wonderful hot fish sasuage" written on his car in Japanese.

LOL Yeah, a dangerous game, but a nice idea. Even more risky; an English only speaking collegue is looking to have his Indian late fathers name tattooed on in his fathers language. Sure he will find some reliable help somewhere...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That for me would be enough. have you ever read the english subtitles for "initial-D" the live action film from last year. They are absolutley laughable. It would be sweet revenge to enter. "like a sausage day, the dragon dishonours himself" into the translater and get that printed as a graphic to run along the sill Could start a whole trend for comedy japanese style graphics.

Quality! I think thats a good idea actually! People would ask you 'so what does it say mate' at shows, you could give them the old 'Hot Graham sport egg dishwasher' and theyd wander off, wondering if you were taking the p1ss out of them.

From the initial-d movie. "God is human too, only that he did something that human can't do"
"you turn constrainedly don't you think?"
"five years ago my hemorrhoids were back one night, really big ones coming out damn it"
