Perfection. I love how most Mopar guys won't change from leaf springs even when they're narrowing the rear for big tyres.

there is a perversity about it on one hand (preserving the heritage of the car) but on the other - why would you? Leaf springs are a light and simple way to locate a rear axle. If you load the springs right then there isn't an issue with axle tramp/wheel hop and you don't get that lop-sided launching issue you get on coil springs and many 4 link rear setups.
I've watched plenty of fast street cars launch and some of the most impressively clean are on leaf springs. Theres one ol Dodge Dart which really cooks, runs 10s, stock leaves under the back, you see it launch its really sharp. Its a red one.

Oh yeah I know they work well, but they're the only group of enthusiasts that seem to stick with them on Pro Street Cars.

That's sweet!
I'd love a car with that footprint, that upskirt shot from the back it just rude!

Wow! What a car. I have dirty thoughts about doing this same thing to a 60's Chrysler wagon.
