Whats this? Would look good set up as a Classic Touring Car! That's a Datsun 160J SSS hardtop, known in Japan by it's proper name Datsun Violet SSS. The model is a 710. I have one and it is my favourite piece of 70's Datsun styling by far ;D They are really rare in the UK now though.

The Finns still appreciate retro racers, unlike your average Brit, who would've scrapped a car like that a long time ago. That and most Scandinavian countries didn't use salt on the roads until very lately, so loads of old motors didn't have to put up with crusty wheelarches and holes in the floor over there the way they did in the UK

The 710 coupe stands out in my opinion because it is pretty unique in the way it looks. So much styling has gone into that model! It's spec is great too as it has the same IRS that the 510 has so it has lots of performance potential. I'd like mine to look like this eventually... got your PM and answered it BTW ;D

I'm not normally into Japanese motors but those are really nice! You lot have got me noticing J cars now more than I ever have before. I mean, I'd always have said, "Oh, look a Datsun!" but now I'm getting to know what model. Which reminds me, I saw a nice burnt orange 120Y two door, looking nice, slightly slammed and on slot mags or similar by the look of it. I didn't get a good look cause I was going by it in the Imp, and was looking at the warning lights more than anything else! ;D
