Yo.
Mate has a 79 ish Fiesta and a set of RS 4 spokes from an Escort Mk2, are there likely to be any offset issues? Look like they might be a bit wide to me.... before we get all involved in finding tyres etc should he just get a set of Fiesta wheels?
Ta.

Car is standard height (for now), 185/60/13 fitted to the pepperpots on it so will swap those on.
Cheers.

6J or 7J?
as said, 6's will fit, mine did. if you lower it then you will need an adjustable panhard rod with those tyres.
if its the 7's then no chance without pulling the arches a lot and having skinny tyres

Offset is wrong... a lot of fiestas that you see with what look like escort RS wheels are actually on fiesta supersport wheels.
They do fit and work though, if you like bump steer and frequent balljoint changes.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Righto, I think they're 7s but will look tomorrow. Trying to go for the Supersport look but might end up keeping the pepperpots, which does mean selling the 4 spokes......
Of course I'm not the one who has to drive it or live with it so, as such, I don't care. I am however, probably the one who would be doing the balljoint changes....

I had a set on my mk3 fiesta, fitted fine. I had 155/65/13, 185/60/13. 175/50/13 and 165/55/13s on it when it was lowered 70/80mm no problem.
Did have a few issues with drivers side wheel bearing going twice! Not sure if this was because the wheels had the wrong offset or my driving style?

6J but I must say, they look a bit more dished than on the white Fiesta above...... Still, customer came in today, got all excited about them and then said he thought he had an old set of Supersport wheels in his shed so the whole problem may have solved itself. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
