Hey BC, that Voyager looks interesting to me. Are they just a special edition or summat? Limited edition (actually a run out version of the pre-facelift estates but that does have it's advantages) Normally Manual and 2.0 with a few goodies thrown in - it often has some rather nasty graphics down the side but not always My preference would normally be for a 2.0 Diamond Estate as that got virtually every toy going and leather and people don't realise how few they made so aren't over valued Seems like an honest car, what's your verdict? Any big bills forthcoming at that mileage or anything that should have been done recently? Unlikely to need big money spent on it and sills being done is a bonus - just the rear floor pan (footwells) boot floor and rear arches and door shuts need carefull checking for rot Shame about the photos - is that a solid red colour or metallic? Seems to have alloys. Has specific to Voyager Alloys - Solid Red (pretty sure about that - limited range of colours on that model) Not too far away either, could go and visit my Granny who lives nearby! LOL - handy

guess what I'm gonna say. w123. you should get a topper one for 1k. ive knocked over 15,ooo miles onto mine last year, with the only breakages being driveshafts and a couple of sets of tyres. to be fair, this is only cos ive lowered it. leave it at standard height and it'll keep on trucking forever. mines a 2.3 auto, effortless on the motorway and returns over 30 mpg, even with the cruise on. examples found. no1no2no3good luck in your quest.

MG Montego? Fairly quick and bouncy.... or if you can't stretch to the MG just go for this and they said mini-MPVs were a new idea! Didn't the second Scirocco have fuel injection? BB Yes and no. My Storm did (1.8 DX motor with K-Jet, same as in Ventos and stuff), some Scalas did but I'm led to believe that the Scalas went back to carbs later on in life. By far the majority of 'roccos run on carbs.

I too was going to suggest a Montego efi! Incredibly comfortalbe, bigger than a 3 series beemer, and the ones that are left tend to be the ones that have been looked after from new. Might aswell whore out a pic of my own: Aswell as some beige goodness:

Mr B will come up with another of his identikit owner profiles for that /\ I suspect. I still can't shake his idea of Honda Legend Coupes being driven by amateur boxers and Rover 800 Coupes by wife-swappers.
CR500Dom, both those cars sound great! Reckon I'd go Accord personally.

I’ve never driven a 1995 BMW 518 but I imagine the driving experience to be equivalent to travelling round inside the shell of a crippled and asthmatic red ear slider turtle (towing another one bigger than itself on a kind of ‘Turtle Trailer’) and the economy to be pretty dire too.
A 635 CSi sounds more like it, difficult to come up with an ownership profile for that one, but its going to involve a wardrobe healthily stocked with ‘Chino’ type trousers and jumpers worn draped over the shoulders.
