Kinda cryptic, poo title. But how do you title a show and tell about a Citroen CX Loadrunner, 6 wheel conversion, which is towing a 1964 Piper Comanche aeroplane thats been converted into a small caravan? I thought some of you do buy Retro Cars, which has a great article in it on both, and the builder. Here is a Youtube link, and some pics. I would say right now...... I would be game to build one any time. Though not as practical as the GrizzPod I would have it "Just because I can " Loads more on Google to take a look at.

I really enjoyed that article in RC. Wish I'd had teachers like that at school.

The guy was a teacher at my son's school for a while...the Citroen was in the staff car park, but never the plane!

I found it interesting that the conversion was done in Germany. TUV approved?

The guy is a friend of my Brothers ( @ Seth he has the silver grey CX pickup you photographed).
loadrunners used to be TUV but not sure how many are made these days. But there is only the 1 fundamental change of extending the bed which is done using OE parts except for skins. All other parts are OE.
As for towing, comments around 'its a dream' negating the length of the overall unit.
There was an ex Paris Dakar Heli pad CX in the south of france for sale a couple of years ago ( Tissier) although it was only a rummour and it was a private sale so no idea what happened to it as that would be the ultimate toy ( Paris match motor).
