You have to manually enter it with the forums web address. I am on the proboards app now, faster than safari at any rate!

I just use Safari because the Proboards app won't let me comment on threads, for some reason...

I would use it, but its not free, safari is, lol this LOL What does it do that Safari doesn't? Assume I only use one Proboards forum in your sales pitch/reply Loads faster. The base map of the board is stored on the phone so you don't have to wait for safari to load the general board, then the for sale board, then the thread you wanted, for example. it only has to load the listing for the actual sub section. it operates on a more text basis, so no image buttons, stuff like that, but is perfectly functional just like using safari. Only thing it can't do is edit exisiting posts it appears. So overall, much quicker. Which for me on an aging iPhone 3G, is important.. Battery life and all that!  |

I just use Safari because the Proboards app won't let me comment on threads, for some reason... I thought this was just because I'd been tight and only downloaded the free app! Can you not comment on the paid-for version either? Was considering upgrading as I spend far more time on the i-phone than I thought I would when I downloaded it, if you see what I mean! Gets a bit frustrating seeing a thread, wanting to comment, and then thinking 'oh balls, I'll have to go over to Safari or wrestle the netbook away from SWMBO'! |
