This was after 2 coats with the paint a bit too thick, came out quite peely but flatted off and polished well, it is thin though so needs a few more thinner coats for maximum coverage looked like this before flatting I only polished it up as a bit of a mojo boost and to show volksangyl.

Right, thanks for all the input, i have decided to just go for it! So far...... As it started..... I'm going to make my own guide for future reference, but its fairly straight forward, even for me........I'm going to have to leave with doing it in stages, but for now, its starting to look better!!! Anyone else been brave? (I shall be putting a more detailed progress report on here later, for anyone thats intrested... retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=93702 Cheers Rob)

I have a T25 that will be getting rollered, my mini may well get done too, I found this and thought it might help all of you who maybe thinking of doing it, as has been said before the PREP is the key to a good job, good luck and go get stuck in Let me know how you get on buddy, I'm planning on trying to persuade my mate to let me practice on his T25 panel van before I have a go on my Clubman Estate ;D

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

More progress..... I will construct a real idiots guide soon, with images and what not, as a result of this, I hope others have been brave and gone for it, I just need to put some more elbow greese in to get a nice finish and no orange peel effect!
