hi guys, recently bought a gearbox off of here to put in the wifes 405, it is a be3 gearbox which looks the same apart from a few subtle differences... hers is a be3TT box and has what appears to be a ventilated bell housing wheras the other one hasnt.. am I likely to find any other differences???
cheers
Nick

Doubt it.
I've just changed mine in my pug from a XUD lump to a HDi version. The original was vented, this one isn't. There's a big gap under the box for ventlation lol!
only things I'd say swap, would be your sensors, other than that, you'll be cooking!
BTW - it's arrived then?

No it should be fine, only thing I can think of is to check the clutch actuation, in case it's a 'pull' rather than the 'push' in the 405 ?
