I'm after a fuel tank to fit my kit car to increase the capacity from 6 gallons to as big as I can get. The bigest fuel tank size I can get to fit under the floor is 60cm wide x 65cm long x 18 - 20cm deep (fiiler neck needs to be one end) . Any idea what tank will fit in that area or any for sale of about that size ideally with a sender unit please. Something like this Thanks Allan

Hi Guz, that may be Ok, because the exhaust may be shifted a little, any idea of the depth and how much do they hold?
Wild oliver, do you have the dimensions of the MGB tank please?

Anyone have one lurking in their shed/garage which might fit the bill. Or does anyone know the dimensions of the MGB tank

how about fitting a second tank? Sounds like it would be far far easier and cheaper

Did think about that, but 2 x mini van tanks would be £200+, so one MGB tank would be cheaper, but need the sizes of one or a similar one

Does anyone have a VW Polo tank (cica1985/90) they could measure for me, been told its very similar dimensions to what I'm after. I think it will hold 9 gallons, which would be Ace for my kit car.

Hi Dez, its a Hustler 6. (6 wheeled mini based beast).
Guz, I can have a bit more length (OOO EERRR) by re-routing the exhaust. Also the polo tank holds 9.2 gallons, so would be ideal
