Anyone know of a decent guide to how to go about retro-fitting rear seat belts? The car is question is a Beetle if anyone has any specific info. Ta  |

all the mounting points are
there on mine, '68 and '73.
my '73 had red metro rear
belts fitted, straight bolt in.
(ripped 'em out though, yuk !)

Cheers, I'm asking for my mate so where are the mounting points? He has said there's nothing under the seat base and his is also a '73.
Is there a method for working out exactly where to place the seat belt reel on the C-pillar?

there should be a round plug that
has a crosshead slot to screw it out
at every point, C-pillar, centre tunnel
and to the inside of the rear quarter,
about the size of a 2p piece.
if his is poverty spec with minimal trim
the holes should be in plain view.
