Make: Seat
Model: Ibiza CLX 1.3 petrol in Tornado Red
Year/Reg: 1993 on an 'L'
Mileage: 136,214
MOT: 12 months (passed 8th Dec 11) Passed first time with no advisories or anything, nearing 11 months now.
Tax: None
Points to note are:
Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension etc:
-Its all standard, just had a brand new clutch fitted! (only covered six miles)
-It has had a new alternator, battery, general service stuff, pads, shoes, handbrake cables, rear wheel bearings and exhaust manifold gasket all within our ownership, probably a few other things aswell but I can't remember off the top of my head.
-The handbrake cables and rear wheel bearings were fitted less than 100miles ago.
-Has a secondary ignition warning light fitted.
-Its very recently also had a new dizzy cap and rotor arm.
Bodywork/exterior:
-This is the worst area of the car, it has a few battle scars; the passenger door has a scrape from a pillar. The passenger rear wing has a scar by the rear light where it was cought on something, this has been smartened up. The drivers rear wing has a scrape above the arch, this again has been tidied up. And then it has the usual car park dents on it. However it does look smart for its age after a clean, especially after a polish.
-It has had welding done to the floors and sills at some point
-It has the original 'EFI electronic fuel injection' decals on the front doors, its a very early mk2 ibiza and these seem pretty rare, we've only ever seen one 'L' reg ibiza before and that had the same decals. That was in a breakers yard though.
-Its just had two new front side light bulbs ready for its mot.
Interior:
-The interior is original, its a grey pattern cloth, in good condition, the drivers upper bolster is worn through to the stuffing.
-Theres a polo 6n centre console fitted.
-It has a manual sunroof that works fully and does not leak.
-The spare wheel has only ever been used once.
-Its got its original oem stereo fitted, however we don't have the code for this, we never did. I'm sure if you got the code it will work, the cage for it is not fastened in meaning it can be removed without the need for the special keys if you wanted to fit a cd player in it or something, thats what we did.
-Still has its original fitted carpet mats as from the dealer
Wheels:Its on its original 13" steels and hubcaps, four excellent tyres, the fronts are matching, one rear looses air around the bead, so needs popping off the rim and re-seating.
New parts fitted within our ownership:
-brake pads and shoes
-handbrake cables
-rear wheel bearings
-recon alternator
-battery (covered by RAC guarantee)
-Exhaust manifold gasket
-Bosch wiper blades
-clutch (only done six miles!)
-And i'm sure some other parts
It also has its original owners book etc in the glovebox, original carpet mats as fitted from the dealer, and theres a load of invoices etc in a folder for it.
Location: Buckfast, just off the A38 inbetween Exeter and Plymouth, Devon
Price: £425
Bearing in mind this has just had a £70 clutch fitted, £54 Mot...

Viewing is obviously welcome, come and have a look, we can discuss price etc. We do really need this to go, since its not taxed and insured its not being used now so it is stood, I do however start the engine and run it up to temp every now and then.
Its fully working and has 12 months mot, however that is all. Therefore it will need tax and insurance to be driven away.
It was my sisters car, we're purely selling because she upgraded to something newer and we have no space to keep it. Its been a great car, especially reliability wise, she has driven this car all over the country and it never missed a beat.
It has had a registration change within the last few months, the original turned out to be worth something so that has been retained, all paperwork is through etc. The reg in the photos is its new reg (the one it comes with). This will mean its service history etc will be in a different reg, but the paperwork is here to prove the change.
It has had a clean, polish and wax, the black plastics were blacked etc.
And for anyone that doesn't know, these are mechanically based on a 6n polo, therefore lots of parts are interchangable, including seats, suspension etc.
