Bought her 2 years ago, she was greddy turbo'd when I got her but setup wasn't right and she did a piston within weeks of purchase . Had a replacement n/a engine fitted by 'everythingMX5' specialists, along with clutch and full service, since then she's run excellently. For my ownership I've done all of about 6k miles as a weekend car. Is in what I’d describe as generally tidy condition, with the odd small mark here and there. Has a small dent in the bonnet, and a small split in paintwork where the aerial was smoothed over. I was tempted to repaint, but as a weekend car these points are so minor they never bothered me enough to sort. Don't want to do it a disservice, it's perfectly decent and has no rust on arches or sills, which is more than can be said for some of the sheds i've seen advertised, just don't expect a concourse car, it is 15+ years old after all said and done.
As I say, I’ve owned her since July 2009 and it’s been my weekend car / intended track project.
She was reasonably standard when I got her, and I’ve modded her to make what I think is a bit of an all rounder.
The sport brakes are outstanding, they make a HUGE difference and never suffer from fade or wear. I really can’t emphasise how good they are, bite and braking power is without doubt the best brake setup I’ve had on any car EVER. Coilovers make it firm to drive, but on a run give great confidence in the cars handling.
Engine wise, she pulls strongly throughout all gears, and runs cleanly.
Taking into account bracing, coilovers on WIM settings and the brakes, it’s a well set up car ready to go for daily use, or sprints/trackdays.
Coilovers are set low, obviously can be adjusted for height in an hour or so.
Paintwork – she was once red, but had a respray before I got her – to be honest it’s not a bad job at all, and I'd say 90% of people wouldn't even see it without being told.
Rear window has a small crack in it – again, being a weekend car stored in a garage and getting little use it didn’t bother me and I haven’t had a new roof/window fitted.
Reason for sale – can’t keep 2 cars now I’ve moved into central London, aswell as my parents want their garage back!

I live in shoreditch, central london, car is stored in Chislehurst, kent. viewing wise, either location is fine, but I'd need 24 hours notice to go and get the car from my folks. Kent may be easier for test drive, unless you want to sit in traffic !
