Price Good points (if any) Bad Points (Rust I am guessing)
I saw one for sale yesterday for £400 near my house, white and only 2 female owners.
Just thinking is it worth it and when are they like.

I love em!!! early ones are great... late ones are not so... but they are great!. Fast, fairly reliable in stock tune (really they are) Poor interior, poor body, poor build. Great cars

Here's what you need to know:
You should buy one.
I've been lusting after an early Uno Turdo for some time, but they all seem to have disappeared! Go on, snap it up

Early ones have a 1.3 8v turbo with EFi (105 bhp)
Late one have a 1.4 8v turbo with EFi (118 bhp)
.....they see 60 in about 8.5 seconds and can be chipped to give 140-150 bhp!
Both rust, blow gaskets, melt pistons, weigh fook all and generaly fall to pieces!

I had 2 , watch out for rust, rust and rust, but can they go, won't go round corners though with the standard suspension. My second had a modded dump valve and the overboost switch disconnected, could go off the rev counter in 5th. Check engine/box mountings , my gearbox mounting broke, box dropped and caused damage to turbo pipework, gearboxes are fragile , they're a Strada 105tc box, synchros go on 2nd and 3rd, back calipers seize, electric windows pack up,( unique to turbo) if its got a sunroof, it'll be leaking.

I 'found' one on sunday in a farmers yard, has been sat for some time but looks solid as a rock, black paint faded but not a bubble of rust in sight! Tax disk says its been stood for 5 years. Got me thinking about doing something with it if its cheap enough! Sounds like it might be worth enquiring about.

hehe, that busa throttle body kit is about £700 to buy... one day when i rob a bank. Bogg Brothers will sort you with R1 carbs jetted to suit, manifold et cetera for about £275. Woot. Constant-velocity carbs; one per cylinder. Win. *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum
