We have a problem!
My friend has a escort cosworth rally car, if anyone knows of it, its L20 GE, it originaly belonged to Gwyndaff Evens and found its way to Ireland to do rather well in the irish tar championship in the hands of Trevor Moore.
So this car my mate has is quite some thing, 50mm cage all the way threw the car, and everything is super strong.
Basicly he smashed the NSF into a gate post at weeton army camp on a rally, it needs some work to get back alive!
So mike is doing some work now, but wants to get back out rallying asap.
Mike has been offered factory built sierra sapphire shell, its LHD which we will convert to RHD, its exactly what we want apart from Mikes Escort was a wide track car, its 5" wider than a sapp or so we have been told.
Now does anyone know anything about this size difference? Or can you arch a sapp shell? Does anyone do arches for them for racing
