Hi all, I need to get a new headlining made, don't really fancy doing it myself and as the car's rare no chance of buying one off the shelf. Anyone got any ideas? I've got the original to use as a pattern.

Is it fabric glued to a board or is it material suspended by trusses? The former I can help with, for a price. The latter I've never done before. Essentially the best advice is to 'get on with it' - material is fairly cheap. If you make a big mistake just start again.

If the lining is suspended on wires it's not a bad job as long as you get your spacing right on the fabric, just time consuming to get right.
More info on the kind of headlining (with pictures, if possible) will make helping you out easier on this one.

I've a glued on one to do, my only concern is that the board it glues too seems to be "moulting" a bit.

Thanks all, the headlining is on wires, the only pic I have is this one showing the back bit hanging down. Think I will just have to "get on with it" unless someone can make me one using the old one as a pattern?

WOW A Bond 875! Is it the Mk1 or the Mk2? I think on a G it could be either? Those things are madness on wheels.

It's a Mk2 that will be running a supercharger once done, and should be mad as a box of frogs and about as controllable! I'll start a readers ride thread on it when theres more progress to show.
