Decided to crackly black my Rocker cover on the Alfa GTJ.
carefully rubbed it all down to 220 grit, masked it all off lovingly.
cleaned & degreased it.
3 heavy coats on saturday night, left to dry for 24 hours, then put in oven to cure as per can instructions.
missus left me use our smeg oven (surprisingly), poped it in.
10mins into top gear last night horrible smell. went down to look.
ooooo curse word, paint blistered & oven full of acrid smoke.
200 degrees Faharenheit not celsius !!!!!!!
didnt I feel like a donut.
Finish looks great on the non-blistered areas.
going to take it down the shot blasters now !!!
