Here's my Mums Escort. She rang me a couple of weeks ago to tell me that it wasn't working and her "garage man" told her that the clutch had gone. I thought that rather than muck about trying to get it fixed I'd get her a smaller car which was cheaper tax and better fuel economy which I've now done. I couldn't get it to start the other day, but she has now moved it off of her drive so it obviously does work to an extent! I don't know what's wrong with it and I have enough on my plate already so I need it gone. It has full service history, and very low miles for what it is. I think my Mum just rides the clutch and that's probably what's done it in!
It does have a few dents front and back, but will make a great runaround for someone who is happy to sort it out. No tax, but it does have a load of MOT, I'll find out how much later on.
Oh, good tyres and it's just had a new backbox!
