and it was hard to park as they feel very wide from inside. Probably something to do with their massive width - widest car sold in Britain until it was bettered by, erm, Jaguar with the XJ220 ;D. (I've wheeled out this piece of trivia many times now, it's my second favourite piece of trivia ever) And for that reason I can definitely see Akku in one. A huge not entirely practical barge, what could be more you?

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

I had one of these, around the same time as the Jag, it was about the same size (if not bigger) with way worse visibilty but the Jag still felt harder to to get in gaps, its the shape of the flanks i thing, the doors feel like they are 2 foot wide. Just remembered one of the petrol tanks on mine rotted through as well while i had it. i keep remembering stuff that went wrong on it, admittedly mine was cheap old banger, not a modified survivor, but still, be carefull of it.

Yeah, like I say, its a mate's car and I know he's had some fun with it, done loads of mechanical stuff but now its been sitting a bit, MOT is out and it will need some floor and more for the MOT.
I like the concept but the potential for failure in the execution is the problem!
If I can get ahold of the vendor, who appears to be Lord Lucan's chauffeur or something, I have a nice big-fin Cadillac to look at too. Seems a safer bet in many respects.

Yes in mile deep gloss black, keep the moons not slots, slam it, and replace the motor with a VAG V10 turbo diesel. You get luxury, refinement and almost economy. Just my 2p as someone who loves old Jags of that era after mother, god bless her smutty soul had one as a wedding car for her business in the 80s.

I know it's a later model Jag, but it's got very similar lines. I think a 420G done like this......... ......would be epic. Sorry for the big image but it's too cool to shrink IMO
