Incidentally, the man who owns that Dino is named Dickon Daggit. That's a proper rogue's name, that is.

It may be aeons behind the 360/430 but from what I hear, it's a sublime showcase of what a mid-V8 Ferrari should be.

whilst on the topic of ferraris my favourite of the slightly more modern ferraris (as I like all the pre 1980s ones) the 512. seen one driving through town a year or so back and remember it being VERY wide. don't know why but for some reason I just fell in love with it, the rear end is something special to me anyway. love that one especially and for some strange reason I like the look of the testarossa spider, weird looking thing to me but theres something about it thats "special" of course Id prefer a 348 spider over the testarossa but the testarossa was the first ferrari I saw in the metal when I was a young 'un.

That's a nicely written article too. I love the 355 so it had my interest anyway, but worth a read for any fan.

Another 355 lover here too. I'm not a big fan of Dinos though, seem a bit awkward styling wise.

personally wouldn't take either Ferrari's are one of my least favorite cars but if i had to choose it would be the Dino for me the 355 is just another generic boring looking kit car wannabe to me at least the Dino has a little bit of character

The 355 is soooo right. It always struck me as the sort of Ferrari that could be used every day and would be relatively practical.

Had the pleasure of driving a 246 GTS last week, lovely drive... despite the cramped 'Italian' driving position. How anyone can describe its styling as anything other than perfect is beyond me... but I suppose life would be boring if we all shared the same opinions!

Yes, it's my favourite Ferrari, because of Outrun in the arcades. I don't like the typical type of 'love me because I'm a Ferrari' car, but I love it. Has anyone driven a Ferrari from pre-90's? Are they pretty awful to drive?

246GT in Giallo Fly is just about perfect for me. I grew up in the early 70's watching Tony Curtis drive a red one in 'The Persuaders', have loved them ever since. IMHO the most beautiful car ever made. I'm a long-time subscriber to Octane, by far my favourite automotive monthly read. Great article, but then everything about Octane is.
