I have an X plate Isuzu Trooper 3.0 DT SWB commercial for sale. It has just short of 12 months MOT, but is sorned at present. It`s showing 193k, but had a full engine rebuid at Isuzu in March 2009 at 164k. It`s since been back to Isuzu to get the troublesome injectors replaced (£247 + VAT per injector, not including labour!). Luckily, Isuzu will replace any injector faults free of charge on these, as it`s a known fault.
What else to say about her? White in colour with front A bar, Nissan Nivara roof rails, side steps and parking sensors. A towbar and single electrics are fitted, fully working, but the wiring could do with a tidy up. Always starts, and runs/drives well. No issues with the engine or gearbox. All 5 tyres are good, with plenty of tread left. It comes with a Sony CD player, parrot handsfree kit and a comedy PA syatem with numerous animal noises and sirens to irritate other road users and pedestrians. It also has A/C, which is rare on these, although there is no belt on the compressor so this would need looking ionto if you wanted to use it.
So, negatives; As I stated, the wiring could do with tidying up on the towbar. It`s all working, but the wires are wrapped around the bar itself instead of being tucked away nicely. The wiper stalk has snapped, and so is very loose. It`s still easy to operate all wiper functions, but it just doesn`t centre itself. Finally, the alternator or charge relay is on its way out. I was going to advertise this for £1600 until I realised this, so it`s now £1400 as is. If any buyers want me to sort this out prior to collection, I can do, but the price would be £1600 then. It could be just the charge relay, which is a £20 part, but if it`s the alternator, a new one costs around £170, although used ones can be bought for circa £45. Apart from a few scrapes here and there, these are all the bad parts.
