.... one of the only spots I managed to get a picture whilst on holiday.... it obviously wasn't going to drive away whilst i fumbled with my camera like the others (mint daily mk2 escy estate, 70's transit camper, slammed to the floor bay window) did! any ideas? looked like it had only been there a few days despite the roof being caved in, was complete with leather interior too!

The rear windows are distinctive... I can't remember which 4x4 it is... Trooper?

hmmmm doesn't look that close, but that's a pic of a 4-door - did they do 2-door ones too? i was leaning more towards Shogun but hard to tell when you can't see most of it.
it's on the beach at Bolton-Le-Sands, just north of Morecambe, if anyone has a spade and wants a new 4x4!

hahahahahahhahaha Gofasterpinch - i did think of you when i was wandering around Lancaster, i thought you said you were from that neck of the woods. I had a couple of days on the Red Brick Farm campsite overlooking the bit of the beach where the trooper was buried. Follow road out of Morecambe along the shoreline north, it goes into Bolton-Le-Sands and about 1/4 mile before a major T-Junction there's a little turning on the left, signposted as a campsite. Follow single-track road, over a railway bridge and turn right... keep following this road, round to the left at the end and park on the edge of the beach. Trooper is sat there waiting for the AA

There`s a cafe by a beach in Weston Super Mare that has a wall covered in pics like that of tourists who parked too far out. Mate of mine used to work for a sign company that put up signs warning of the sinking sand on the beach - he couldn`t be arsed to walk out to where the sign was supposed to go one day and decided to drive out ..... guess what happened next ?! £250 for a tow out just as the sea was lapping into the footwells !
